Mr. Richmond is originally from just outside Buffalo, New York (yes—he’s a proud Bills fan through and through!). He has been calling North Carolina home ever since he earned his degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY Fredonia. He kicked off his teaching career at Coulwood Middle School and has since left his mark on classrooms and hallways across several schools—including West Meck, North Meck, West Rowan High and Middle, and South Iredell High.

Along the way, Mr. Richmond has worn a lot of hats: head wrestling coach, assistant football and baseball coach, National Honor Society advisor, AMC Mathalon sponsor—you name it, he’s probably done it. He also holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction and earned his administrative license from Appalachian State (Go Mountaineers!).

These days, Mr. Richmond lives in Cleveland with his wife, their four awesome kids, two goofy dogs, and two cats who are probably (definitely) in charge. When he’s not cheering on a game or tackling a DIY project, you’ll likely find him lifting weights, mowing the yard with serious precision, or enjoying a quiet moment (rare as that may be) with his family.
